What is the Second HUB in the Shib Metaverse?
The second HUB is the Rocket HUB. The first one is the WAGMI (We are all gonna make it) Temple HUB. The Shib
Development Team recently released a blog post on the second HUB. The Rocket HUB is based on the idea of “going
to the Moon” that everyone shares in the
crypto community. “Going to the Moon” is an expression that the crypto
community uses to describe an asset that is full of great potential and has a
price ceiling that is sky high. How do
we currently go to the moon? We currently go to the moon via rockets, so this
is how rockets are linked to cryptos that are “going to the moon”.
Let’s have a look at a couple sample concept images of the Rocket HUB.
If you pay close attention, you will notice that these images were signed and dated by Anson Jew. Anson Jew “is a storyboard and concept artist, working on live-action and animated projects for movies, TV and interactive media.” He has gotten a long list of film credits on imdb.com; great to see that the Shib Development Team is adding great people to the already great Shib Metaverse team including Marcie Jastrow and Brandie Konopasek.
This Rocket HUB takes architectural inspiration from “Cape
Canaveral (United States), Monument to the Conquerors of Space (Moscow), Lake
Tahoe (United States), Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park (United States) and
Heavenly Village (United States).”
The HUB gets its flora inspiration from “Alder, Cedar,
Jeffrey Pine, Ponderosa, White Fur, California Corn Lily, and Sulfur flowers.”
For fauna Inspiration, the Rocket HUB takes inspiration from
“California Gull, Canada Goose, Dark-eyed Junco, Hairy Woodpecker, Stellar Jay,
Swallows, Black Bears, Coyotes, Foxes, Beavers, American Marten, Douglas
Squirrel, Porcupine, Raccoon, Mules, and Deer.”
The feel of the HUB will be adventurous and including things
like “Resort, Gondolas, Alpine Coaster, Fly Fishing, Tubing, Trail Hiking,
Bonfires/Camping, Hidden Waterfalls, paddle boarding/kayak, Hot Air Balloon
rides, Drive-in movie theater.”
This will be a fun HUB for the Shib Army to
explore. They should allow
Shib Army members to bring their Metaverse Shib Dogs along with them on Hot Air Balloon rides for example. They should make it a multiplayers environment, so that people
can have fun exploring together just as in real life.
