What is ShibCon?
Shytoshi Kusama, Shiba Inu’s lead developer, announced ShibaCon 2024 at The Blockchain Futurist Conference 2024 to fulfill a vision of Ryoshi, Shib creator. This will be Shiba Inu’s own and first ever conference. ShibaCon 2024 will be held in Bangkok-Thailand, same as DevCon 2024 ,but a couple days earlier.
According to a post on The Shib Daily, “ShibaCon 2024 aims
to bring together Shiba Inu enthusiasts, developers, and supporters from around
the globe, showcasing the project’s evolution and fostering a strong sense of
community identity. The conference will feature discussions on Shiba Inu’s
technological advancements, ecosystem development, and future plans, providing
attendees with valuable insights into the project’s trajectory.”
This even will fulfill Ryoshi’s vision, as stated in his now
deleted 2021 Medium post titled “All Hail Shiba.” A screenshot of his post is
