Who is going to build Shiba Inu’sMetaverse?
The answer is The Third Floor (TTF), a “world-class visualization studio”. On July 21st, 2022, TTF released a news article on this. According the news release, it is going to design and build the Metaverse, Shib.io. TTF specializes in “the production of popular IPs across film, television, video games, VR/AR and location-based entertainment”. For the past 17 years, under “top directors’ and designers’ ” guidance, TTF has been “building visual worlds and stories of all scales” for “projects in Hollywood and around the world”. Its past projects include “films and shows in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, recent Star Wars films and episodics and projects across themed attractions, commercial advertising and video games". Specific past projects include “Dune, Avatar, Gravity, Avengers: Endgame, Horizon Forbidden West, Gears 5, Destiny, Tekken 6, Thor: Love and Thunder, For All Mankind, The Mandalorian, and many more”. The Third Floor will use its expertise “in visual development and storytelling” to help create a truly inspiring Shib Metaverse. It will also use available technology in rapid prototyping, powered by Unreal Engine, to turn “ideas and “looks” into 3D prototypes” quickly.
This is great news for the Shib Army! This is an excellent addition to the already amazing Shib Metaverse Team which includes Marcie Jastrow, Brandie Konopasek, and Sherri Cuono.
The Third Floor’s Chief Strategy
Officer, Dane Smith, was also excited about
the news and he had the following to say:

How does the Shib Metaverse's
project plan look like?
So far, according the press release, the creation of the Shib Metaverse will be under the direction and
guidance of the “SHIB The Metaverse’s Advisory Board and team”. This “Advisory Board and team” is made up of
“experienced innovators, developers, community leaders, AAA Video Game
Designers, and Metaverse experts”. The
Shib Army will also have the ability to provide some input because the Shib
Developers “emphasized the importance of their [Shib Army’s] community values".
SHIB: Metaverse is going to have
“SHIB at the center of it all”. The
metaverse is going to encompass the history
and the beautiful visuals of Shib. It is going to be a virtual place where the Shib Army
can truly call home. The mission is to
build “a unique, fun and exciting” virtual world where the Shib Army can “explore,
benefit, and interact”. This will
include share “ experiences, gather in game-resources, generate rewards, and
even allow them [the Shib Army] to have a personal space in which they will be
able to build and manage their own projects”
Most important of all, the ShibMetaverse will be integrated with the entire Shiba Inu Ecosystem and its
technologies. You know what that means; the Metaverse will be connected to Shibarium (Shib’s own blockchain).
