SHIB has a lot of projects coming up this year. The list
includes the launch of ShibaSwap 2.0, play-2-earn SHIB games, SHIB’s Metaverse,
and Shibarium (SHIB’s own blockchain). Shibarium
is going to make a big impact on the SHIB ecosystem and the SHIBArmy is eager
to know when it will come out, so what do they do? They go bother Shytoshi Kusama (SHIB’s Lead Developer) on Twitter. A member of the SHIBArmy asked Shytoshi Kusama
“Wen Shibarium Sir?” and the answer was “ACTUALLY pretty soon. Look for documentation
very soon ”
ACTUALLY pretty soon. Look for documentation very soon

If you have been following the SHIBArmy, you know they like to
spell “When” as “Wen” and they love to ask “Wen this and Wen that”. Back when the SHIB token just came out and when
the SHIBASWAP was still under development, it was “Wen Swap”. Then when the swap was going to be audited by
Certik, then it was “Wen Certik” And
when petitions were still going around on www.change.org
asking CoinBase to list SHIB, it was “Wen CoinBase”. After CoinBase listed SHIB, then petitions were
going around asking Robinhood to list SHIB, and then it was “Wen Robinhood” You get what we mean. The SHIBArmy is very
active and it is all about having good fun while building out all the projects
for SHIB.
The SHIB community has been anticipating that Shibarium
should be out by mid or late 2022, but it is hard to pinpoint an exact time, so
we will have to wait for actual announcements.
Shibarium is going to be
another layer on top of the Ethereum network and it is supposed to help
reduce the high gas fees that are associated with Ethereum.
MILKSHAKE also sent out a tweet on this.
What are layer 2 solutions?
— MILKSHAKE (@shibainuart) May 2, 2022
Layer 2 is a term used for solutions created to help scale an application by processing transactions off of the Ethereum Mainnet (layer 1) while still maintaining the same security measures and decentralization as the mainnet. ๐งต
